How Sleep is like Housekeeping!

We all can be a bit "untidy" from time to time, letting a few household chores or cleaning out the "basement" go for a while before a good house cleaning. But what would happen in if you very rarely do a thorough clean and tidy up? You start to feel unorganized, tired, confused, overwhelmed and even depressed! This is how we start to feel many times if we are not sleeping well. We feel many of the same symptoms if the brain is unable to cleanse, release waste byproduct and restore naturally from our normal daily living! When is the natural time for the brain to clean house and restore itself? During our 7-9 hours of sleep!
This week we are looking a bit deeper as to what his happening during our sleep cycles and discussing some more ways to encourage better sleep for better health.
